Birthday Song Generator With Name

Give the AI their name and a few stories only you would know. You read and edit the lyrics, then AI singers turn them into a birthday song you can share.

AI song generator. Zero music skills required.

Step 1What is your song about?

Whose birthday is it? Tell the AI their name, the age they are turning, a nickname, and two or three stories, jokes or habits that make them who they are. What mood do you want?

How to make a birthday song with their name

Making a birthday song on Text2Hit takes three steps, and you can read and change the words before any music is made.

  1. Describe the birthday person. In the box above, write their name, the age they are turning (if they would not mind hearing it sung) and what makes them who they are: a nickname, a running joke, a trip you took together. Add the mood, pick a genre, a voice and a song language, and press Write My Lyrics.
  2. Read the draft. The AI writes the lyrics and a title in seconds. Check that the name sits where you want it and that the jokes land. Type straight into the lyrics to fix any line, rename the track, or ask for a rewrite in plain words, such as "Put her name in every chorus". When it reads right, press Create My Song.
  3. Listen, then send it. AI musicians and singers record the song, usually in about 2 to 4 minutes. Play the preview in your browser and share the link with the birthday person, or play it at the party.

Birthday song ideas for everyone on your list

The lyrics are written from your description, so specific details beat general praise. Some starting points:

  • Mom: the dish she cooks for every celebration, the advice she repeats. Try Acoustic or Country with a Female Vocal.
  • Dad: his toolbox, his worst puns, the team he never gives up on. Classic Rock or Blues suits a dad who still plays air guitar.
  • Partner: where you met, your first trip, the small thing they do every morning. Pick Duet for two voices.
  • Best friend: the night you still can't explain, their go-to karaoke song, the nickname nobody else may use. Pop-Punk, Disco or Hip Hop / Rap keeps it loud.
  • Kids: their favorite animal, game or superhero and the number they are turning. Pop or K-Pop suits a kids' party.
  • Grandparents: where they grew up, the song they dance to at weddings. If they speak Spanish, Hindi or another of the ten lyric languages at home, pick that language for the lyrics.
  • Coworker or boss: keep it kind and office-safe. Try the Choir voice for a whole-team sound.
  • Milestone birthdays: for an 18th, 30th, 50th or 80th, say what changed in that decade or what comes next. The number gives the chorus something to build on.

There is room for 10,000 characters, but three or four strong details usually work better than a long list: the lyric writer keeps a song to four verses at most.

Tips for getting the name right

The name is the moment everyone listens for. A few habits help:

  • Spell it exactly as it should appear, and say where it goes: "use the name Maya in the chorus" is clearer than hoping it turns up.
  • Choose between name and nickname. If he is "Big Mike" to his friends and Michael to his grandmother, say which one the song should use.
  • Look for it in Step 2. If the name is missing, misspelled or appears only once, edit the line yourself or ask the AI to work it in.
  • Listen for it in the preview. The singer is an AI model reading your lyrics, so a rare or unusually spelled name may not come out the way you say it. Play the preview before you send it.
  • Several names? For twins, a couple or a family birthday, list each name with one detail about that person, then check in Step 2 that every detail sits with the right name.

Pick a sound that fits the party

There are 37 genres and 22 vocal styles, and you can combine genres in one song. For a birthday, try:

  • Sing-along party: Pop, Disco or Reggaeton with a Female Vocal or Male Vocal.
  • Sentimental: Acoustic, Folk or R&B / Soul with Soulful Vocals.
  • Funny roast: Heavy Metal, Punk or Opera for an over-the-top tribute, or Spoken Word for a mock-serious speech.
  • Old-school family: Country, Bluegrass, Latin or Chanson for relatives who like traditional music.
  • From the whole crowd: Choir or Gospel Choir, or Duet for two voices.

Lyrics can be in Spanish, French, German, Hindi, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, Hungarian or English, or on Auto, which follows the language of your description: handy for an abuela, or a grandfather who speaks Hindi. Leave the genre empty and the lyrics are written as Pop.

Last-minute birthday? Here is the timing

Remembered on the day itself? There is still time. The lyrics take seconds and the song usually takes about 2 to 4 minutes, so a link can be ready before the candles are lit. Send it to the birthday person, drop it into the family chat, or play it from your phone at the table.

One last read before Create My Song is worth it: typing your own changes does not use a generation, while each AI rewrite uses one.

What you get, and what is free

  • A full-length preview. Every finished song plays in the browser and can be shared as a public link. Free previews carry a spoken watermark and have no download button.
  • Cover art. Each song gets an AI-generated cover image, shown on its share page. If the image model declines, the song comes without one.
  • The clean version. Unlocking a song removes the watermark and lets you download the MP3, with the cover art and title built in. No subscription is needed for a single song.
  • Free to try. Your first 6 AI generations are free. A generation is one lyric draft or one AI rewrite, not a finished song. After that you get up to 3 a day, and a free account can make up to 10 song attempts a day.
  • Other ways to unlock. Share a song on Facebook or Instagram to unlock one song a day, or invite a friend: when they finish their first song, you both get an unlock.
  • Plans for frequent gifting. Monthly and yearly plans include 5, 20 or 200 song unlocks a month plus unlimited lyric changes; cancel any time.

Songs you don't unlock are deleted after 90 days, so unlock the ones worth keeping.

Birthday songs made with Text2Hit

These example songs were made by the Text2Hit team and shared publicly. They are in English, one of the ten lyric languages: a pop song for Maya's 30th birthday, an acoustic duet for Grandma Rose's 80th and a dinosaur stomp for Leo's 6th. For lyrics in another language, describe your song in that language or pick it under Song Language.

Frequently asked questions

Will the song actually say their name?

Put the name in your description and say where you want it, for example in the chorus. You read the lyrics before any music is made, so if the name is missing you can type it into any line yourself. The singer is an AI model, so play the preview before you send it: a rare name may not be pronounced exactly the way you say it.

Is this birthday song generator free?

It is free to try with a free account. The first 6 AI generations are free (a generation is one lyric draft or one AI rewrite, not a finished song), then up to 3 a day. Free previews have a spoken watermark and no download button. For a clean MP3, unlock the song, use a plan, share a song on Facebook or Instagram (one unlock a day) or use a referral unlock.

Do I need to sign up?

Yes. Writing lyrics and making songs needs an account, and creating one is free. You can sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft or your phone number.

How fast can I have the song?

The lyrics arrive in seconds. The song itself usually takes about 2 to 4 minutes, and you can share it as soon as it is finished.

Can it sing the classic "Happy Birthday to You" with their name?

The AI writes new birthday lyrics from your description rather than recreating an existing song. Prompts that ask to copy an existing song or to sound like a real artist can trigger a copyright warning.

Can I use lyrics I wrote myself?

The AI always writes the first draft from your description, which uses one generation. In Step 2 you can replace any line, or all of them, with your own words. Before recording, the lyrics are prepared for the AI singer and very long lyrics are shortened, so the sung version can differ from what you typed.

Can the song be sung in my voice?

No. Text2Hit does not record or upload voices. You choose from 22 AI vocal styles, such as Male Vocal, Female Vocal, Duet, Baritone or Choir.

How do I send the song to the birthday person?

Press Share on any finished song to get a link you can paste into a message, an email or a post. Until you unlock the song, the share page plays the watermarked preview; after unlocking, it plays the clean version and you can download the MP3.
